So one of the co-workers in the office is leaving the company, so we all went out for drinks. I didn't drink any alcohol because I had rode the bike to the office. As we come out, this drunk guy wants my motorcycle and is willing to trade a Porsche Panamera for a 10 year old, only worth about $3000 Triumph (He was clearly drunk, off his rocker, or both).

I said no, only from the fact that it's a Panamera. I mean, really...of all the Porsches out there, you want to attempt being a drunk idiot with a Panamera? That might be a new low, there.

Was I right for Just Saying No to a Panamera?

Should of taken the trade. No offence to the bike, but that's just simple man maths.

Plus, a used Panamera surely is worth a used Cayman R.

I would have set it alight, but that would be a waste of the $3000 I paid for the bike.

Also, then someone might have mistaken it for a Ferrari.

I think so. A drunk person giving away a Panamera is very questionable. Plus the paperwork would still have to be done and he would probably be sober by then. So a waste of your time. (besides that a Panamera is not a Porsche). :)

You were right on, I'd take my Triumph over a Panamera any day. Ugliest car ever built, in my opinion.

Which Triumph do you have? I've got a 2000 Sprint RS, Lucifer Orange.

2003 Sprint ST in Aluminium Sliver. Currently it has a fuel consumption issue (26 MPG). Likely it's computer related, so at some point I'll replace the O2 sensor.
